X-games and more.

The annual event/party barrage of Xgames, SIA, and the Freeskiing US Open just wrapped up and even though the contest season moves on (Aspen Open, North American Open, Honda Sessions, European Open, etc. etc. etc.) our season now becomes more about photo shoots than contests.

Xgames this year granted the unexpected surprise of doing rather than full time spectating.  We actually got on the hill every day and we were fortunate enough to get to take advantage of Aspen’s 30 year snowfall…

Seattle

We just returned from our second trip in two weeks to Seattle to manage several events based around the raising and signing of the Seattle Seahawks 12th man flags for Qwest.  The signed flags then went into the team’s locker room for inspiration

12th man, for those of your who don’t know, refers to the fans and their enthusiasm as the 12th man on the field.  When the Seahawks are playing, you can’t cruise a block of Seattle without seeing the number 12 plastered everywhere.

Spill

We recently finished and installed a Red Bull water feature at Spill in downtown Denver. The feature is about 8’ tall and estimated at around 1000lbs of concrete and steel (keep in mind this estimate was made after carrying it out of the truck and up a narrow steep set of stairs onto the rooftop bar). We delivered the feature just in time for Spill’s 4th anniversary party. After getting the monster up the stairs and installed we had plenty of time to sit back to share some drinks with Spill…

It’s working…
