Helly Hansen Jib Feature

Helly Hansen creates cutting-edge outdoor gear that is used by world-class sailors, skiers and adventurers worldwide. In this pursuit, Helly Hansen sponsors and collaborates with professional athletes, including sailors, mountaineers, and skiers.
Looking for a way to market their workwear product line in conjunction with their sportswear product line, Helly Hansen came to The Public Works. Utilizing together all of the skills and services that make The Public Works distinctive, we created a marketing campaign that brought Helly Hansen’s ski/snowboard team into our shop where they constructed an oversized “HH” logo that now doubles as a jib feature. We designed and engineered the “HH” jib feature, the athletes fabricated the jib feature—all while sporting the Helly Hansen workwear product line—, and we seized the rare opportunity to conduct a workwear product photo shoot. Once the jib feature was completed, we assembled the athletes for one final photo shoot. When all was said and done, we had compiled a huge library of assets that were used heavily in Helly Hansen’s advertising campaigns. And the jib feature found a home at Helly Hansen’s partner resort, Aspen.
