lululemon athletica
project overview
lululemon athletica has been a great client to work with, as we’ve worked with lulu’s design team to build over a dozen pieces of unique art for the art behind the checkout counters in their stores. These projects have allowed us to use all of our design and fabrication skills to the fullest, and even learn some new tricks along the way. Each piece is different, containing a message relating to the culture their brand has created, and is tied to the area in which the store presides. The projects aren’t just posters or something easy to make, they’re one offs that rely heavily on materialization to create the look they desire. We’ve used everything from beetle kill pine cut down in our own backyard, wrought iron, neon lights, yoga metals, and different kinds of metal. We’ve been lucky to usually start a new piece as a finished one ships out to its destination, and we look forward to keeping the relationship going for a long time.
