Race to Mackinac

After The Public Works collaborated with the creators of premium champagne, Veuve Clicquot, in Aspen, Colorado on their annual “Clicquot in the Snow” project, they understood the full extent of our capabilities. And so we were lucky enough to get their call, inviting us to cover the 104th Chicago Yacht Club Race to Mackinac. Veuve Clicquot was a presenting sponsor of the race, the oldest, annual, fresh water, distance sail boat race in the world. The Public Works’ primary objective was to shoot all still photography and video for Veuve Clicquot over the course of the six-day event. In a testament to our wide-ranging capabilities, The Public Works also helped design and fabricate a range of promotional elements to showcase Veuve Clicquot and their iconic yellow color at this historic race.
