Spyder Kyds Shoot in Toronto

Last year, the world’s largest ski specialty brand, Spyder, mounted a successful “Kids are Colorful” campaign. This year, The Public Works set out once again to showcase Spyder’s Kyds apparel. We packed up the studio and headed to The Sporting Life—Canada’s premier online and in-store retailer for ski apparel. Once in Toronto, Canada, we transformed a meeting room at the retailer into a scene from “Dexter”. Soon we had a group of kids roll-in, decked out in white Spyder Kyds apparel, and, in no time, the food and paint started flying—adding fun, splashes of color. The Public Works captured it all. The Public Works successfully executed this shoot with a short lead-time, small crew, and a single shoot day. The imagery we created will be used for: a mural outside The Sporting Life; all Spyder kid’s fixtures inside; and throughout a global campaign for Spyder Kyds.
