Spyder Showroom
project overview
“Our relationship started based on our photographic needs, but has expanded to promotional work, collaboration connections, athlete team management, custom build/fabrication needs, and brand building efforts that have opened up new channels of brand exposure and created unique opportunities affecting new consumer groups. The Public Works is a brand building company that acts as an agency, but can create tangible results through their relationships and capabilities. They are extremely unique in their approach to promotion and brand building. They focus solely on you, but encompass the vision to connect brands and create symbiotic relationships that can position your brand in unexpected arenas. TPW will allow you to grow through avenues you may not have realized. Their ideas are brilliant and their drive is invigorating.”
- Brady Collings, Spyder Active Sports, Inc., Brand Design Director
There is immense pride within The Public Works at the new 10,000 square foot Spyder showroom and gallery inside Battery621—a cutting-edge, energy-efficient, 30,000 square foot building located on one of the busiest intersections in Denver, Colorado. [link to description of Battery621?]. Everything that we could have hoped for came together in this one massive project.
Spyder, a superior, high-tech, global skiwear company and one of our largest clients, came on board during the early formation of Battery621 to become our largest tenant. Although we were already managing Spyder’s global ski team and shooting all of their still imagery, we had yet to show them our fabrication skills. So when it came time to design and build out their new gallery for wholesale sales and events, we could not have been more happy or motivated.
It was a mad dash to the finish, as we only had six weeks to do the entire build-out in time for their global sales meeting. Working hand- in-hand with Spyder’s visual marketing director, we designed and built everything customized to the space and their needs. In order to do it on an incredibly cost-effective budget, we utilized a large amount of existing materials that Spyder owned from their previous tradeshow booths. These materials were repurposed and given a whole new life.
The Public Works also reached out and formed business partnerships with material vendors to turn Spyder’s space at Battery621into a showroom and marketing story for not only Spyder, but also for companies such as Belbium, Ecodomo, Eco Smart Fire Appliances, Got Metal Colorado and 3M. Through these efforts alone, The Public Works was able to bring almost $100,000 of additional value into the space with no cost to Spyder.
Stop on by Battery621 so we can give you a tour; you really need to see it first-hand. It’s not only Spyder’s home, but it’s where our headquarters are as well. And, it can be your home office away from home too!
