Subaru Booth and Custom Vehicle Graphics at SIA
project overview
For the 2012 SIA (SnowSports Industry America) Snow Show, Subaru was belatedly named official vehicle of the show. With only weeks until the show was set to begin, Subaru not only needed a trade booth designed, built, and delivered, but they also needed a custom car wrap design for their vehicle that was to be on display. Working with both a tight time and budget, The Public Works found the best solution to the problem: recycling a booth we had built for Subaru for the 2011 SIA Snow Show. We had a timber frame structure already designed and built. We then worked hard to customize it and give it new life.
Displayed in the booth was a new graphic package that was designed to promote the debut of the 2012 Impreza. We also setup a “campfire” and installed a “ski-lift chair” where guests of the booth could get their Subaru-branded photo taken and emailed to them later that day. For further entertainment, the booth also displayed Matchstick Productions’ newest freeskiing film, as well as a running slideshow of the photos taken by guests to the booth.
The Public Works also designed the display car’s car wrap. Our design not only promoted Subaru as the Official Vehicle of the SIA Snow Show but also as the Official Vehicle of Winter. The graphics drew inspiration with images of the Snow Show fused with a winter scene.
