the blues JEAN bar
“Our brick and motor store presentation is an integral part of The Blues Jean Bar experience. When we developed our mobile concept we knew that we had to incorporate that same look and feel in order to maintain brand identity. Public Works immediately resonated with that request and created a mobile bar for us that is aesthetically beyond anything we could have wished for while remaining functional and easy to work with.”
- Sydney Prikryl, Head of Operations, the blues JEAN BAR
the blues JEAN BAR takes an innovative approach to selling denim where knowledgeable friendly “Jeans Tenders” help customers find their perfect pair of jeans. They have nine brick and mortar locations and three mobile units nationally and are rapidly expanding. Their mobile units are portable retail experiences that take to the road to test new markets and deliver their unique product to regions where they don’t yet have a physical location.
The Public Works designed and constructed the blues JEAN BAR’s display associated with its mobile units. The display consists of a modular portable system of light-weight crates made of beetle kill pine. The crates interlock together to create a customizable shelving system. They also serve as stands for the front bar top. The Public Works designed and constructed the top crates in each stack with branding printed directly on the surface on both the inside of the crate (behind the denim) and on the back of the crate. These top crates can be oriented either horizontally or vertically depending on signage needs and the quantity of denim. The Public Works also designed and constructed the center bar crate with a custom, water jet-cut steel logo to complete the branding.
