When Aspen Mountain approached The Public Works to build high-end on-hill branding pieces for use during photo shoots and large Aspen-hosted events such as the X Games, we knew just what to do. Our skills as photographers, designers and fabricators gave us a myriad of ways to look at this project. We created a beautiful, light-weight and durable solution to brand the mountain whenever the need arose. The Public Works has done several rounds of various sizes and constructions over the last several years.
These pieces have been featured in an amazing amount of coverage in print and moving pictures, and the return on investment of the editorial impact has been gigantic. Media placement has included the cover of Freeskier Magazine, the TransWorld Snowboarding Resort Guide, and Red Bull’s “The Art of Flight” film.
We’ve also shot photos for Aspen and have built other event infrastructure, such as custom podiums for various events.
Aspen’s forward-thinking attitude in how they brand their mountain has resulted in a PR impact that is truly impressive and diverse.
