Kicking Off the New Year

Happy late New Year everyone! It’s hard to believe we’re already over a month into 2017. It’s been a great start to so far and we have some great projects on the horizon. We recently wrapped up a spot for Jeep to support their Xgames partnership. We produced a series of videos with the Eddie Bauer guides, shot new imagery for Awair, captured Billy Idol and Macklemore at Bumbershoot for Airstream, shot the US Ski Team for Clif BarSpyder, and POC, Ryan Sheckler and Danny Way for Skatelite. We built bars for Moet, Veuve Clicquot, and the 4 Seasons, built another year of SUP Trophies, and raised over 3,000 for SOS Outreach at an art show at EVO in Denver.

Jeep: 2017 X Games

We couldn’t be any more excited about the recent work with did with Society on this Jeep spot. We’re proud of our ability to work on jobs of all sizes but it’s really fun when we get to pull out all the stops. The best part about a piece like this is the ability to work with our colleagues from other areas. We brought in our good friend Chris Patterson to DP. Chris has been the Director of Photography on features like Inception and I am Legend. We’ve shot along side Chris in helicopters flying through mountains from Telluride to Iceland, ridden elephants with in Nepal, wrangled dog sleds in Greenland, and been in crazy situations around the world shooting for Warren Miller so it was fun collaborating on a non-life-or-death creative project like this.

We could tell stories about almost everyone on our 30+ person crew but we’ll just say that everyone involved in this production is someone we’ve worked with for years or have a huge amount of respect for. So many talented people need to come together to make something like this possible. Huge thanks to everyone!

Airstream Basecamp Wins RV of the Year

The Public Works couldn’t be more proud to be the lead agency and production company launching the Airstream Basecamp.

We’ve been involved with the development and launch of this product since its inception. From initial design discussions to brand development, to final launch plans and asset creation, we’ve been able to work with the remarkable team at Airstream to help create a product and campaign that we’re extremely proud of. Now we can add an award.

Awair

We recently had the opportunity to produce images for Awair. The Awair Smart Air Quality Monitor brings comfort and promotes a healthy lifestyle by using a host of sensors to keep track of indoor air quality, measuring the temperature, humidity, carbon dioxide, toxic chemicals, and dust. Awair’s TrueSense” technology uses dedicated monitoring and complex analytics to achieve greater accuracy and control. The Awair app provides quick recommendations, based on its readings, to help consumers develop healthy habits.

US Team Photoshoot for Spyder and CLIF

We can’t say enough good things about working with the US Ski Team. These guys and girls are true badasses pushing themselves to the absolute limit of what is possible on a pair of skis.

It’s a pleasure to team up with good brands and create imagery that tells the story of what it takes to become a champion. Thanks Spyder, Clif, POC, and US Team!

Bumbershoot and Airstream

Airstream does an amazing job of supporting cultural and music events. We had the opportunity to document Bumbershoot in Seattle and watch our good friend, Sam Warren, produce the festival. Airstreams set up four units to host the artists performing on the main stage and make sure they had all the comforts they could wish for.

Billy Idol rocked the house. Macklemore owned the main performance and spoke about how the festival was the first live music event he ever attended. Seattle is his home town and they came out in force for him. Charlie Sheen made an appearance and it was exactly what you’d expect.

Skatelite with Danny Way and Ryan Sheckler

On Saturday, January 14th, 2017 we were honored to be a part of such an incredible event with skateboard legends Ryan Sheckler, Danny Way, Alphonzo Rawls, Chris Joslin, Mike Rodgers, Fabrizio Santos, Torey Pudwill and more. It was a night of skating the rooftop at the Hard Rock Hotel in San Diego with musical performances by “Slightly Stoopid”, an afterparty, and more to benefit the Sheckler Foundation. We were there capturing the madness and shooting interviews with Sheckler and Way both who were well spoken and gracious.

Champagne and Hot Chocolate

“The sleek aluminum champagne bars TPW has created for us have almost become part of the brand’s identity, and the perfect backdrop for sharing moments.” @ak_bauer, Moët Hennessy

“We’ve activated TPW pop-up champagne bars at luxury resorts all over the West Coast, including the Ritz-Carlton in Lake Tahoe and The Fairmont in San Francisco. Everyone loves the portability, the functionality and the design of these pieces of art.” @ak_bauer, Moët Hennessy

Evo Art Show

To celebrate the grand opening of the new Denver location, Evo is hosted the store’s inaugural gallery installation, featuring photography by Ian Fohrman. They sold through almost every print and raised thousands of dollars for SOS Outreach, an organization dedicated to giving the mountain experience to kids who otherwise wouldn’t have the opportunity.

Right Meow

We have 2 crews on opposite sides of the Pacific Ocean capturing stories for multiple clients.

Crew #1 is in Southern California capturing the Tommy Bahama Airstream at Caravan Outpost and then shooting with Letícia Bufoni for Skatelite

Crew #2 – New Zealand
